THE SELLER
  • The seller (person placing the advertisement) must ensure the item you are selling is in full working order.
    If not the seller must include in the advertisement details of any item that is defective

  • The seller must ensure the item you are selling is Hygienically clean and suitable for sale

  • The seller must ensure that the details in the advertisement are both true and accurate

  • The seller understands that the advert will be placed in the relevant section at secondhand-scooters.co.uk
    within the time allowed by the advertiser and for the duration purchased from the day the advertisement was placed
    on the webpage

  • Refunds are not given once an advertisement has been submitted
    However the advertiser will work with the seller to amend and resubmit the advertisement

  • The sellers 'contract for the advertisement' is with secondhand-scooters.co.uk and is only for the size of
    advertisement and the duration stated at the time of purchase.

  • The seller will be deemed to have read and agreed with the terms and conditions and agrees to be bound by them


  • THE PURCHASER
  • It is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the seller, inspect, negotiate and agree all prices, delivery,
    collection and conditions of sale with the seller

  • The purchasers 'contract for the sale of the item' is with the buyer and not with secondhand-scooters.co.uk

  • The seller will be deemed to have read and agreed with the terms and conditions above and the details of sale
    on the relevant web pages and agrees to be bound by them


  • THE ADVERTISER
  • The advertiser (secondhand-scooters.co.uk) agrees with the seller to provide a service for advertising
  • The advertiser agrees to add all advertisements withing 7 days from receipt of the advertisement

  • The advertiser agrees to provide the service for advertisement for the period agreed at the time of sale

  • In the event that an over payment is made at the time of submitting the original advertisement, the advertiser agrees to refund the seller the amount of the overepayment less 10% administration fees which are to cover the cost www.secondhand-scooters.co.uk are charged when a sale is submitted
  • The advertiser does not accept any responsibility for any item advertised or purchased though it.
    This store is just a tool providing a service between a seller and a purchaser of disability - mobility products.
  • The advertiser cannot be responsible for any 'short term' downtime caused by any third party, ie. the server hosting
    the service. Short term downtime being defined as any periods up to 8 hours. Any downtime greater than 8 hours
    will be provided as a credit at the end of the advertisment period in 24 hour portions
    (The advertiser servers are providing a high 99% uptime and any planned downtime is always notified to us)

  • If the advertiser is a private individual VAT will not be applicable. If the advertiser is a trade supplier it is assumed that the item is for personal use by a disabled or chronically ill person in the UK therefore VAT will be exempt under Group 14 of the Zero Rated Schedule to the Finance Act 1972. A suitable VAT declaration form will be supplied for the customer to sign in accordance with the terms and conditions set out by law.
    In all other situations the customer will be expected to pay VAT on the advertise price.
